This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

I normally love this place and go pretty often (>10x a year) but lately this place has fallen off a bit in terms of quality. While I understand the cost of food is increasing it doesn't make sense to increase the cost of a meal twice in the past year while also serving lower quality food. Just this past weekend this is some of the salmon we were served. Very unappealing especially when you're paying at least $40 per person for ayce. Probably not going to return for a bit

Decent sushi, sloooow service. I went to Sakana while in town for a business trip and the vibe of the place is young and vibrant. I arrived at 6pm and I got a table quickly. I ordered a miso soup that arrived quickly and was good. Then it slowed to a crawl. 10 minutes later I ordered the rest of my food, a Godzilla roll, 8 nigiri and salmon sashimi. The Godzilla roll arrived within 2 minutes, but the rest took maybe 25 minutes to arrive. I slowed my eating to enjoy, but was so hungry when the nigiri came that I scarfed it down. The sashimi was unfortunately sliced almost 3/8β thick and there was no wasabi under the fish on the nigiri. I was still a bit hungry and decided to order a spicy tuna roll. Big mistake. I had to wait 20 additional minutes for the roll to come and it was served without wasabi or ginger. Now, I am not a sushi snob, but this was not really up to snuff. Maybe their takeaway is better than dine-in.

Came in on a Thursday and was able to be seated quickly given the fact that it was graduation day-there was a lot of families and groups out trying to eat. We were not doing the buffet option so we were able to sit at their small bar area. This is a BYOB restaurant, they do not serve alcohol. My friend and I loved our sushi rolls, the hibachi steak and shrimp was tasty, but the steak was not tender. And the chicken wings were not something I would order again. I would return to try more things from their menu. Service was friendly. And the food was very affordable.!

There are loads of sushi options, but I think unless youβre going to eat two meals worth of sushi itβs more cost effective to buy the rolls you want individually than do the all you can eat. A lot of the specialty rolls were strange and also I think they got some of the order wrong or werenβt too cognizant of separating the meat and not meat options. I thought the smaller pieces and the fish were good though.

Super clean with a moody upscale atmosphere. Service was excellent and were very attentive but not overbearing. They are not stingy with the fish to rice proportions, didnβt feel as if they are trying stuff you with rice, which was very appreciated. Everything was incredibly fresh especially the tuna. Highly recommend as a local spot.
